A little bit about myself - Kinvara

Hello everyone!


It's nice to meet you. My name is Kinvara Reyes Bourke. I was born in Santiago, Chile and grew up there until the age of 15, when I moved to Dublin.


I have been living in Dublin for 6 years and so far so good. After I finished my Leaving Cert I decided to do the Forensics Applied Science course in BIFE and I absolutely love it.


I hope that during the mobility we all get to know each other and that together we have an unforgettable, fun and enriching experience.

  Blog 1: So I have settled in quite well! I’m very happy with my accommodation and the girls I’m sharing with. In the apartment there is a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette with the necessities, two single beds and a sofa bed. We are only a five minute walk to the city centre, we only have to walk across the bridge and we are in the centre which is so handy! Our transport for work is a bus and the bus stop is only around the corner which is so convenient! The bus journey is about 40 minutes. Blog 2: So to be quite honest I’m really not happy with the nursing home. I don’t like how the treat the residents, it very different to Ireland. The reef the residents around like they’re teddy bears, they show no empathy towards them which is so disappointing. I haven’t been able to showcase the skills I have learned in college. Ciara Whelan - Málaga

​  Hi, my name is Ciara. I am 19 and from Shankill. I’m currently studying science. I love travelling and animals. I hope to continue studying science and become a zoologist! I prepared for my trip by filling in and printing off all the coronavirus forms needed for the trip. I also packed my two suitcases and downloaded a movie for the plane.   The accommodation is so cute, it is a four star studio apartment. It has a small kitchen and living space with a couch and television. The bathroom is so nice and the shower is really good. Everyone is on the same floor in the apartment block which is really fun too! The apartment is located right beside the centre of Málaga. It is surrounded by shopping centres and places to eat. There is plenty of lovely Spanish places to eat and there is also some American places such as Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts. The apartment is so close to the bus routes and train station. I get the bus to work and it takes about forty minutes in total to get to my work
